So... this is officially my (Kody's) first post on the Carr's Corner blog. I am neither as witty or as grammatically correct as Katie, but I thought I needed to participate anyways. I wanted to share with you guys a song that pretty much describes a part of my daily life and why I believe what I do. I apologize for the quality of the video, but really the picture isn't what matters! The lyrics are below the video if you can't understand any part of the song.
Sometimes I feel like I am drowning
in this stormy sea called life
These never ending waves are crashing
and I'm certain I will die
But You come and you save me
You wrap your arms around
You help me when I'm hopeless
You lift me up when I am down
The wages of my sin has brought me to
this separation from my King
The life I thought was good was all but true
and my works have gone unanswering
But You come and you save me
You wrap your arms around
You help me when I'm hopeless
You lift me up when I am down
The blood You shed for me on the cross
and the promise made on Calvary
was meant to shed the scales from my eyes
and allow my heart to see
That you came and you saved me
You wrapped your arms around
You helped me when I was hopeless
You picked me up when I was down
Wow Kody! That was so amazing. Thanks for sharing.
