It's been a while...How are you? Anyone even there?
I forgot my camera in Omaha over Christmas and have been using that as the excuse to procrastinate blogging. But seeing as we have a second camera that I've used to take many pictures since Christmas, I figured there's no better way to spend my Saturday night than updating the blog. That's what you all do on Saturday nights too, right?
We actually had a super fun almost-3-week break between Christmas, New Years and a family vacation to the Smokey Mountains!
In top 10 list form:
1. Making it to Omaha on Christmas Eve, even after a long snowy drive!
2. Our first Christmas morning at the Nichols' house since being a married couple - I can't believe we've been together for almost 5 years and Kody hadn't experienced this!
3. The entire Nichols family and Nebergall extended family in Omaha for the holidays!
4. Annual SmartGirls Secret Santa Par-tay! Unfortunately, there were only six of us, but it's better than nothing!
5. Mapping the SmartGirls geographically using Christmas cookies. Because we're cool like that. And we miss them.
6. New Year's Reunion with Olivet friends for Michelle and Brandon's wedding!
7. Having all of our hubbies come to the wedding!
8. Getting to share Michelle's special day with her and Jess!
9. Taking a 15-passenger van to the Smokey Mountains with Austin and Amber and having it snow every day we're there.
10. Skiing. Sledding. Hiking. Playing with dogs. Beautiful cabin. Great company. WonderWorks. Visiting Kacey and Bethany. Hot tub. Gorgeous Smokey Mountains. First real vacation since our honeymoon!
