Never enough time...

...To spend with our friends and family. It's definitely times like the holidays when I wish we lived closer to family. Hopefully sometime in the future!

Kody and I spent a quick couple of days in Omaha after Christmas and I got to attend the 12th annual SG's Secret Santa party! My high school friends and I began having Secret Santa parties in 7th grade and we've been able to continue the tradition every year since then! I love it! Over the years, we've had themes ranging from ugly Christmas sweaters, to jewelry and cocktail dresses (this year) to exchanging t-shirts from our new colleges and decorating Christmas cookies.

- Dated sometime during college in my parent's living room. Sara missed out, so we made sure to add her into the picture.

- Dated sometime during college at Lauren's house sporting ugly Christmas sweaters.

- Dated last year in Sara's apartment and I promise I was there! I just missed the pic.

- Dated senior year of high school in Liza's basement. I think this is the only picture we have that has almost all 16 of us! Only missing Shirley! (SORRY KIRSTEN!!)

I have to say, as friends go, I have some of the best. Some of the friendships extending way back to kindergarten when I stole Meghan's bracelets and had to apologize, some beginning in sixth grade, like with Sara, over colored pencils during a standardized math test and lots of other in between! Even six years after high school, we still love getting together, talking loudly on top of each other, laughing at fat jokes, making fun of each other and eating LOTS of food!

**Disclaimer: I didn't begin this post intending to show you bad pictures of me and my friends, but that's what it morphed into! Sorry!

  1. Hey silly! Kirsten's actually in that picture - it's Shirley who's missing. She says she hasn't been to one since...I think junior year!

I like the photo tribute and I'm SO glad you could make it to this years!!
