...And, we're back!

Well, we've officially moved out of our first apartment as a married couple and I'm sad!

But while we were packing this past weekend, we reminisced a bit about our favorite times in the apartment. Here's a peek at our Top 10 memories from our first apartment:

1) XC spaghetti dinner fiasco - If you don't remember this, check back here. If you do, you'll remember we crammed about 20 people into our one-bedroom apartment, made lots of spaghetti, burned the bread severely, set off the fire alarm and were visited three fire trucks!

2) Katie's "first day of work" meal - Kody surprised me with a delicious stir-fry after my first day of work and a bamboo plant that is still alive!

3) Hosting Thanksgiving with the Nichols' family in our apartment. I cooked my first turkey!

4) Kody's parents coming to visit us for a weekend and getting locked out of the apartment for over two hours in the morning while we slept soundly in our bedroom!

5) Our bike store - Our apartment became home to at least two, but sometimes three, bikes at all times throughout the year. Let's just say that I'm soooo glad to have those bikes not in our bedroom.

6) Buying and decorating our first Christmas tree!

7) Having sleepovers on our futon in the living room.

8) A variety of "first" cooking experiences, including but not limited to, calling my mom to ask how to cook chicken, almost starting a grease fire while cooking a disgusting meatloaf and making a sad looking birthday cake.

9) Spending our first month of marriage playing games almost every night and progressing to getting sore playing Wii Sports.

10) Entertaining guests, but having to use our computer desk as a buffet place for the dinner because our folding/kitchen table can't handle much more than four plates and glasses.

Good-bye Apartment 13! We will miss you! Thanks for all the fun memories!
