The newest member of the Carr family!!
Our four-month-old black lab mix - Mr. Noodles!
Already snuggling and falling asleep with Kody, along with his "cone-of-shame."
We adopted him from HELP, a pet adoption agency that works at Kody's vet clinic.

One of Kody's co-workers fostered him until we adopted him and she potty trained and crate trained Noodles! Yay! I definitely like that part!

The "cone-of-shame" is because he's still recovering from a broken leg he got from his previous owner.

But we think he's pretty adorable!!
Word of advice from experience. You may not have children now, but someday you probably will. Those stuffed animals Noodles is playing with now is cute, but it will not be as cute when he attacks every stuffed animal that your children have and they are crying cause yet another toy has had its ear/arm/nose chewed off. Learn from our mistake! (Of course keeping him away from Bandit may be just as effective. Gimli never chewed up anything till he meet Bandit.)
ReplyDeleteOh good advice! He just came with that toy so we figured something familiar would probably be good to keep around. I'm so used to Bandit eating those things in 20 minutes that I'm amazed this one is still around! Probably won't be buying him another one, good idea!
ReplyDeleteI want to be there when he first meets Lord Chaos! That will be a hoot!!
ReplyDeletebeautiful dog katie, the cone of shame is particularly endearing :)
